In her words, here are three gems to get to know Vanessa:
1. I was a summer exchange student to Japan through 4-H when I was 14. It inspired me to learn Japanese in college. As a result I know three languages: English, Spanish and Japanese…but only one well at this point due to lack of practice: English.
2. I am an avid reader. My favorite books fall into the science fiction, fantasy, and post-apocalyptic fiction categories.
3. I like to laugh and make others laugh. My (not so) secret dream is to become a stand-up comedian.
