After 26 years of dedicated service, the Kansas Association of REALTORS® (KAR) announces the retirement of Rod McIntyre, Vice President of Program Development. Rod joined KAR on September 13, 1998, bringing with him a rich background in education, including a 21-year career as a classroom teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in 1977, a Master’s degree in 1984, and a Ph.D. completed in 1990.
Rod’s transition into the real estate association world was marked by a swift acclimation and an eagerness to understand the industry and its professionals. His passion for teaching soon found a new avenue as he returned to the classroom to instruct upcoming Kansas REALTORS® in the principles of real estate. In 2011, he took on the Right Track Leadership Academy Program, where he inspired participants to explore new perspectives on leadership and to embrace the role of making a difference in their communities.
Rod’s commitment to education and professional development has left a lasting mark on the Kansas Association of REALTORS® and its members. We thank Rod for his many years of service and his impact on the future leaders of Kansas real estate.
