Who can participate as a Sponsor or Exhibitor?
Any company or entity that provides a product or service to assist the Kansas Association of REALTORS® in the success of their day-to-day operations is welcome to participate.
How many members attend the conference?
On average, 150 to 175 members attend our Winter Advocacy Conference, and 275 members attend our Annual Conference.
How many exhibits are there at KAR Conferences?
There are typically 15-25 exhibitor booths at our Annual Conference. There are typically 10-15 exhibitor booths at our Winter Advocacy Conference. We also offer sponsorship opportunities at both our Winter Advocacy Conference and Annual Conference.
What does a booth package include?
Depending on the conference and the package you select, (1) or (2) 6’ or 8’ skirted table (depending on the venue), two chairs, access to event Wi-Fi, the opportunity to order electricity (fees apply – see vendor agreement for details), and two lunch vouchers or box lunches for each exhibitor day.
How many people will be allowed to staff the booth?
Up to two people will be allowed to staff each booth. For additional staff, a fee of $75 per additional staff person will be applied to your bill.
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.
Can you customize a sponsorship?
Yes, we are open to exploring sponsorship ideas to meet your individual marketing goals and budget.
When are the exhibitor booth set-up times?
For the 2024 KAR Annual Conference, booth setup times will be Tuesday, 10/1/2024, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
When are the exhibitor booth breakdown times?
For the 2024 KAR Annual Conference, the exhibitor booth breakdown times will be Wednesday, 10/3/2024, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
What are the exhibit hours?
For the 2024 KAR Annual Conference, the Vendor Expo hours will be: Wednesday, 10/2/2024, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Thursday, 10/3/2024, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Tailgate Olympics Wednesday, October 2, 2024 5-6 p.m. (Open to Platinum – Bronze exhibitors and sponsors)
When is the deadline to cancel my sponsorship and/or booth for a full refund?
Except for sponsorships with custom-printed items, all cancellations must be communicated in writing to KAR at least 60 days prior to the conference date. Sponsorships with custom printed items cancellations must be communicated 120 days prior to the conference date, due to lead times and product availability.
Can I attend KAR educational sessions during the conferences?
To maximize our member’s experience with the Vendor Expo, we ask our exhibitors to network with our members from your booths during the Vendor Expo hours.
Can I attend the member mixers during the conference?
If the mixer schedule does not conflict with the Vendor Expo or is not listed as an “Invitation Only” event, you are welcome to attend the mixer. If it is not listed as a mixer, and you are unsure if an event on the schedule is open to Vendors, just ask one of the KAR Staff members.
