Starting on May 6, 2014, the USDA Rural Development Direct and Guaranteed loan programs will be available in the communities of Dodge City, Garden City and Lansing.
This expansion of the program was made possible due to language in the farm bill passed by Congress earlier this year. The farm bill also ensured that the communities of Andover, Gardner, Hays, Junction City, Liberal, Ottawa and Pittsburg would continue to remain eligible for these very important programs.
