Speaker Line-Up: 

Steve LaRue – With nearly 40 NAR appointments to date, Steve currently serves on Board of Directors and is the 2025 REALTOR® Party Member Involvement Liaison.  His dedication to governmental affairs is evident through his roles, including chairing the NAR RPAC Federal Disbursements Trustees Committee in 2018 and serving as NAR’s RPAC Trustees Federal Disbursement Committee Liaison.  Steve has been a Lawrence REALTOR® with McGrew Real Estate since 2002. 

Crystal Swearingen – Crystal is the broker/owner of Crystal Clear Realty in Lawrence.  She has served on numerous NAR Committees and currently serves on the pivotal Strategic Planning Committee. 

Brian Jones – Brian is a third generation REALTOR® and broker/owner of Jones Heritage, REALTORS® in Pittsburg.  With an impressive 26 NAR Committee appointments, Brian has gained a wealth of experience and currently serves as the Immediate Past Chair for the Member Policy & Board Jurisdiction Committee. 

Maranda DeSanto – Maranda is the CEO of KAR and a current member of NAR’s RCE Certification Advisory Board. With nearly 20 NAR committee appointments to her name, Maranda’s career trajectory was forever changed when she literally took the leap into her first year of service.
