In 2010, 15 REALTORS® took part in the prestigious leadership program of the Kansas Association of Realtors. The REALTORS® were part of the 8th annual class of The Right Track: Leadership In Motion from the Association.
Through The Right Track, the Kansas Association of REALTORS® seeks to identify and equip REALTOR® leaders for future leadership positions in their communities, as well as in the Association. Participation in the program is limited each year to provide REALTORS® with hands-on leadership development experience.
“It was a diverse, enthusiastic and highly motivated group of leaders who took part in the Right Track leadership academy this year,” said Brian Jones, 2010 KAR President. “I’m so proud of their commitment to bettering their communities, their association and themselves through leadership training. I know I’m proud of them, and I know the entire Association is proud of the group as well.”

Aaron Aberg
Aaron is a sales associate with J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. in Wichita. He has been licensed since 2007, and holds the GRI, ABR, and e-PRO designations. Aaron was awarded the 2008 Rookie of the Year award by the Butler County Board of REALTORS®, and volunteers his time as a youth girls soccer coach.
Julie Baker
Julie is a sales associate with Prudential Kansas City and has been licensed since 2007. She enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and as vice president of her homeowner’s association.
Susan Bonham
Susan is a sales associate with Realty Executives Hedges Real Estate in Lawrence. Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, Susan was a law enforcement officer for 16 years. She has earned her ABR and GRI designations, as well as served on the Education Committee and the Board of Directors for the Lawrence Board of REALTORS®.
Cindy Boswell
Cindy is a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Americana in Hutchinson, and has been licensed since 2003. In that time, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Hutchinson Board of REALTORS® and been a multi-million dollar producer for two years. Cindy enjoys volunteering with the Christian Motorcycle Association and with her local church, Westbrook Baptist.
Brian Edmondson
Brian has been licensed since 2009 with Keller Williams Diamond Partners in Olathe. He is also licensed in life insurance, health insurance, and property casualty insurance in three states. Brian enjoys serving as a greeter for his church, Emmanuel Baptist.
Julia Head
Julia is a sales associate with Prudential Dinning Beard, REALTORS®. She is serving as Vice President of the Newton Area Board of REALTORS® for 2010. Julia volunteers her time as an Ambassador in Action with the Saint Francis Academy Children and Family Services, and as treasurer of the Ladies Brunswick Bowling Association.
Traci Loftis
Traci is a real estate auctioneer with Real Estate Auction Partners in Wichita, and has been licensed since 2007. She has served on the Wichita Area Association of REALTORS® Governmental Affairs and Young REALTORS® committees, and as a member of the Education Committee of the Kansas Auctioneers Association.
Astrid Mena
Astrid is a sales associate with J.P. Weigand & Sons, Inc. in Wichita, and holds her ABR designation. She volunteers her time with the Activities and Events Committee of the Wichita Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
Sandra Mumaw
Sandra has been licensed since 2006, and is a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Griffith and Blair in Topeka, where she was honored with the Rising Star Award. She chairs the Education Committee of the Topeka Area Association of REALTORS®, as well as volunteering with the Touchdown Club and the Jefferson County Outreach Program.
Kristi Porter
Kristi is a sales associate with Keller Williams Legacy Partners in Shawnee, and holds her ABR and is a Green Certified Real Estate Professional. She volunteers her time at Monticello Trails Middle School and at Kaw Prairie Community Church.
Amber Renfro
Amber was licensed in 2006, and is a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Antrim Piper Wenger in Salina. She has served in the Programs and Hospitality Committees of the Salina Board of REALTORS®, and volunteers as Secretary of her Homeowners Association.
Steve Rosenthal
Steve is a broker of five Reece & Nichols Premier Realty offices, and has been licensed since 1994. He also serves as Chairman of the Leavenworth County Planning and Zoning Department, helping to write and rewrite county policies.
Chris Rost
Chris is a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Antrim-Piper Wenger, REALTORS®. He was named REALTOR® of the Year in 2008 by the Salina Board of REALTORS®. Chris serves as Treasurer and President-elect of the Salina Board, and is the Zone 5 Vice President of the Kansas Association of REALTORS®. He also volunteers with the Tri-Rivers Fair Board, and with the Salina Chamber of Commerce’s Ag Committee.
Debbi Williams
Debbi is an associate broker with Coldwell Banker Americana in Hutchinson. She has served on numerous committees of the Hutchinson Board of REALTORS®, and volunteers her time as Director of Children’s Ministry at Countryside Baptist Church.
Robert Williams
Bob is a sales associate with Coldwell Banker Americana in Hutchinson, and has been licensed since 2007. He has served as President of the Hutchinson Board of REALTORS®, and volunteers at Countryside Baptist Church, with his wife, Debbi.
